Hmmm... if /etc/default/apport had enabled set to 1 as described in the previous link, I would have thought it would request to submit it for you when the crash happened. If there is a crash report in /var/crash, then I believe apport-bug /var/crash/filename.crash will cause it to submit that

If it is crashing, then we can try to submit logs upstream, but the developers will really, really want to see the crash report (which apport should offer to submit for you when it crashes - and when it does, it will open a new ticket as well as attach the logs). -- You received this bug

i played an unencrypted DVD that had some read errors when i copied it to the hard drive. it crashed the frontend again. i'm starting to get pretty annoyed with the inability of the frontend to play dvds properly. i played the dvd with xbmc just fine. if that had the same easy filelevel

ah ok, i do have the libcss and other dvd packages installed. i can run other dvd files just fine. i'll check if this one is still encrypted. but even if storage groups dont support encrypted dvds, it really shouldn't crash on it. a message saying why it wont play the files would be nice. --
