This should probably be closed as outdated. KMyMoney 5.1 has recently
been released, and uses KDE Frameworks, no longer the KDE4 libraries.

I also encountered KMyMoney crashing everytime I open it and click on
the Ledger tab. This behaviour happened after my recent Updates done on
29 January 2012. My KMyMoney is now unusable.

Ubuntu crashes at KMyMoney
Correction in description: after installing KMY completely again, there was a
slight change in the syndroms.
At point 2 above, KMY now displayed home screen, presenting correct data. Then,
when clicking on any link (e.g.; Accounts, Ledger,...), Ubuntu system dumped.
