gnome-shell isn't supported in natty. If the problem is occurring in
oneiric as well, feel free to reopen and specify which version of gnome-
shell you are using. Please report any other issues you may find.

This sounds like a bug in gnome-shell not in hedgewars, /usr/games
should be in $PATH and gnome-shell should honour that.
