These are both known bugs in Aqbanking 5.0.2-2 and Gwenhywfar 4.0.3
which are the default versions in Debian 2.4.2 and 2.4.7. This is not a
problem specific to Gnucash.
Presently, the only known fix (until the repositories are updated) is
to download updated versions and compile the programs
Backported packages of AqBanking and Gwenhywfar for Ubuntu Natty are
available in my personal package archive (PPA) ppa:micha/libaqbanking on
launchpad. You may want to add it to your package management following
these instructions: https://launchpad.net/+help/soyuz/ppa-sources-
