I'm the glom upstream maintainer. glom 1.2.0 is very old. There really
is no reason that I can think of why it can't be updated to glom 1.2.2,
which has several bugfixes, including crasher fixes. Otherwise, I wonder
what is the point of upstream fixing things.

It's also possible that this is fixed by libgda 1.2.4. libgda 1.2.3 had
problems with table names that had unusual characters.
