Public bug reported:
Edgy cannot be installed from the live CD on a Dell Latitude D505 (Intel
82852/82855GM video adapter) because of major screen corruption. The top
of the screen is filled with garbage and the mouse pointer is invisible.
I managed to install Edgy after downgrading the BIOS to revision A09.
However, X will not work with a more recent version of the BIOS.
