I cannot reproduce this bug anymore. There is however not much which
changed. I reinstalled the 2.0.0.1 and started firefox a few days later,
when I discovered that it suddenly works. Here is an excerpt from my
dpkg.log for the relevant timeframe:
2007-01-25 10:22:28 status installed firefox
This issue can not be reproduced anylonger. Closing as fix released.

2.0.0.1+0dfsg-0ubuntu0.6.10
This is a showstopper for me, as I have to use firefox for some webpages
which don't work with Konqueror.

Sorry, I didn't compile firefox 2.0.0.1 from source, but instead
installed the binary package from mozilla.org
I will compile the ubuntu package from source and will try to generate a
better backtrace for you guys.

Please note that this backtrace has been generated using the 2.0.0
version of firefox since there is not -dbgsym version of the 2.0.0.1
package yet. Also note that the
