I can also confirm this works on Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64 when using `make- kpkg` to make headers packages for Linux kernel 3.0, either statically setting LINK_ARCH=x86, or adding a modified conditional in /usr/share /kernel-package/ruleset/targets/headers.mk. -- You received this bug notification

The problem seems to be located in /usr/share/kernel-package/ruleset/targets/headers.mk: LINK_ARCH should be set to x86 for 3.0 kernels. Please note that the kernel package files can be obtained from another location if you add the option overlay-dir to make-kpkg. In this case you need to fix
