Confirming this problem, for Live365 stations only (i.e., the liveradio
extension to Banshee). I'm using Banshee 2.4.0, with the liveradio
plugin configured to use my Live365 username/password. The problem does
NOT affect the initial ads, only the music stream. I get a burst of
music every 1
I think I'm experiencing an identical issue: Banshee retrieves playing stream's
metadata OK, but fails to play media - constantly flicks buffer to 0.0%.
This stream works well/great in other clients, such as VLC Chromium browser
(on multiple OS's)
Client:
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86_64

I'm still on Natty and since yesterday (the first time I test it in
months) this problem seems to have gone away. I didn't do anything
special so maybe some upgrade fixed it (my current version of banshee-
extension-liveradio is 2.0.0-1ubuntu1)

This occurs not only with Live365 but all internet radio stations. The
stream is not buffered, causing interrupted playback. I'm using the
Banshee daily repo on 11.10.

Just to clarify, as with the original reporter, this problem is *not*
occurring outside of Banshee.
