Magnes, Does unity work for you now in Ubuntu 11.10? you stated the
problem appeared after an update, could you try to boot from live cd of
Ubuntu and check if Unity is working there, or maybe test in a guest
session of your current install.

The bug is still present. I can't use nvidia card still. How would it be
fixed when there was not fix released? :|

Unity stopped working
I guess I should mention how I fixed my problem. I went to the grub,
then to the previous kernel and rebuild packages. That solved my
problem. A week later I updated, no issues this time.

Is everyone in this bug using Ubuntu-11.04? It is always helpful to
mention the your version of Ubuntu

Yes, I have this problem in 11.04. If I have nvidia-current installed
Unity (and OpenGL as a whole) doesn't work.

11.04 and it appears that 3D acceleration was lost as a whole with the
update. I'm still able to watch full screen videos though.

@Ordarney - if you have dual cards (Intel Sand Bridge + Nvidia) then you
can try uninstalling nvidia-current - it helped me (to some extent -
OpenGL and Unity works now but is less stable), but I of course lost the
ability to switch to nvidia with Bumblebee.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
