To manage
I am experiencing the same problem with a Java application I am
writting. The application icon appears blurred. I tried using the same
icon as Firefox, and it still appeared blurred. I attached a screenshot
showing the two icons next to each other. In the screenshot, the first
Firefox icon belongs
so same problem in gnome-shell, maybe they help

Pavol, could you try it with a .png instead of svg, also try any other
already exisiting .svg icon as well.

Hi, I have tried it with 48x48 icon also (.png) and normal size png,
also I make png icon pixel by pixel in gimp to have sharp shapes, but it
was blurred too
For example second one is my app with gwibber.svg icon (I have no
.desktop file for app)
