I tried to get e backtrace with gdb using this wiki
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace but unfortunatly it doesn't work as it
reports that /usr/bit/thunderbird is not an executable. Unkown file
type
Am I doing somthing wrong ?

Can you get a backtrace please? This report won't retrace (the retracer
ignores thunderbird and firefox crashes), and you only managed to report
this crash because of another bug (which I've just fixed in trunk - see
