I also have this bug when using Metacity. However, it appears to be a
bug in Beryl, not slab. It does not appear when running Compiz. I'm
unsure whether to reject this bug on these grounds, as other panel
applets do work with Beryl, and the window type (or something along
those lines) may be set

i know why you didnt see it. the menu comes up under other windows on
one click and on top of other windows on the second click. leave a
window where the menu will come up and keep clicking on it. or to be
more confused - like i was - have a window maximized. now it will appear
as though half your
