Thank you for your bug. Can you do that: - remove the panel applet - run /usr/lib/gnome-applets/gnome-keyboard-applet from a command line (it'll apparently hang, it waits for an applet to be added to the panel) - add the applet to the panel (it'll use the instance you runned) - try to add a
