1. I am not sure what the package maintainer meant by stabilzing, because I have been using anjuta in edgy for few months and considering that it is alpha release it is pretty stable. 2. There are few packages in ubuntu which have versions higher than in debian unstable ex. gtkpod. Could anjuta
