Tested the option to check CD errors using Hardy Heron Alpha-6 and it
worked fine.
At least for me, I think the report can be closed.

I choose the option to check the CD for errors in the boot loader menu. Instead
it boots into the graphical desktop. No checking is performed on the CD.
System:
- Fujitsu S6410P laptop
- Intel Core 2 Duo
- 2Gig RAM
- Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 Tribe-5
