Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I have checked other bug reports on the subject, and it seems that this
is different. I have a toshiba M400 tablet. In edgy, I could set
brightness using the laptop hotkeys and using gnome-power-manager (on
battery).

In feisty, I can still set brightness using the laptop hotkeys, after
bug #77026 was closed, but if I use the slider in gnome-power-manager,
the screen flashes like the brightness was set to a certain value and
then immediately reset to a default value, and nothing happens. If I
unplug AC _before_ setting a value for the on battery brightness, then
screen is dimmed, and if I replug, brightness is raised, however if I
move the slider, then on battery brightess won't change anymore.

I ran gnome-power-manager --no-daemon --verbose and got:
