Hi, the X is not working in Beta 2.
I can start the X only using nomodeset , when booting from USB.

Hi Timothy sorry about yesterday post, I was kind of upset and yes I
understand the volunteer job you're doing .
Regarding the fixing this myself , I'm not sure I know where to start
from .
But I'm not sure if this is a hibernation/suspend issue ... maybe it is related
to X server.
Because
attaching more logs after suspend (managed to get them over ssh) maybe
someone can get a hint of what's going wrong

Please can someone fix this, is the only reason I keep my laptop in Windows and
not linux, because of this annoying bug.

I've tried today the Live CD 11.10 AMD64 Desktop version but the display is not
working, it boots from the CD, but the display remains black but there it has
back lighting and the cpu fun is working.
I've tried to open a console but is not working .

-d but it failed after downloading everything, with a message like
upgrade could not be completed

important to known , when laptop is recovering from Suspend/Hibernation:
- the screen is black but it has back lighting but I'm unable to see anything
the screen remains black
- but the computer is working I'm still able to ssh on it , so if you need
additional logs/traces please let me know

Adding dmesg.log after recovering from Suspend/Hibernation.
I've noticed in the logs the followings:

Can you please confirm whether this issue occurs or not in a live
session of the latest development version of Ubuntu?
It is available from http://www.ubuntu.com/testing.
Please note you will only be able to test suspend from a Live CD/USB
session, hibernate won't work.
