I've now installed the 32 bit kernel as it seems to be the only one that works for me at the moment, but after using it for about an hour, got the following in kern.log (was clicking on a link in Chromium and it dropped me into a text output of the following and I couldn't do anything but hard

I've just tried booting from USB off today's daily build of oneiric (amd64) and got a general protection fault from trying to boot off that. I'm attaching a photo of that as I can't currently boot off the installed version on the machine - it just hangs during the boot process. ** Attachment
