i'm also confirming that bug - using oneiric with the latest updates - also
applied updates from oneiric-prposed repository.
that bug are verry annoying.. it didn't happens when in ubuntu-fallback sessoin.

Correct, it no longer suspends when it shouldn't.
However, there is still a bug highly affecting release quality in gnome-
screensaver. The screensaver ignores the settings under "Screen" and
never resumes from screen blanking, X must be restarted. The only
resolution is to kill the gnome-screen
its now definitely fixed for me. anyone else can confirm this so that
the bug can be closed?

Eugene, no those were not my settings for suspend behavior.
It is set to suspend after 10 minutes on battery and when the lid is
closed. On AC it is set to never suspend over time or when the lid is
closed. Furthermore, changing the dconf settings was not effective, the

Yep, the suggestion above worked. My laptop would usually have
suspended by now but it's still alive and well. I didn't need to reboot
or anything.
I also tried using the gui to set the suspend settings and then
rebooting to see if the settings were applied. They were not so clearly
the gui just
