I'm using a ralink wireless usb dongle from linksys with the driver
RT3572STA and NetworkManager doesnt handles it well so I disabled it and
manage my connection manually with iwconfig. So I get the message also
on software center about no network connection so I had to go back to

I was also getting the same error when I try install from Software
Center. It shows the search results, more info and other details but
when click on install It will say "No internet connection".
But After sudo apt-get update the issue got resolved.

Not sure if this is the same bug but I've noticed that this message is
always displayed when trying to install a .deb file (which will
presumably not have an entry in the Ubuntu review database).
