The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
with hardy, for the lenovo t60, it is fixed.

I'm having exactly the same problem, but with a PS/2 mouse. Looks like
it happens only when I move the mouse faster. Everytime it happens,
syslog shows things like this:

Hello Brian!
Here are the results of your request (see attachment).
I hope you can solve the problem because it seems to depend on different
types of usb-hubs... (I use a noname-hub, no problems under ubuntu 6-10
and windows xp)
Remark:
I also get an error message during boot process:

Thanks for your bug report. Could you please add the output of 'lsusb'
when the mouse is connected to the USB hub? Also if you could add the
output of 'dmesg' when the mouse is behaving badly that would be great.
Thanks in advance.

This behavior can only be detected when the keyboard/mouse-receiver was
connected to an usb-hub.
Directly connected to the computer everything seems to work ok.
