Public bug reported:
I get a splash when I boot the cd, but after I have installed kubuntu (herd 4)
no splash comes up at boot.
The monitor simple goes to idle mode ... (as if it is given a wrong frequency)
untill X starts.
Had no problems with Edgy (6.10)
Gfx ATI X800XL.
I have searched for others with the same problem without luck.
