That's a intel_reg_dump with the lid closed on boot which leads to the
external monitor to not be working, opening the lid after boot show that
the laptop monitor is not working either

could you confirm if booting with an external monitor connected is

Not really, the laptop doesn't have a dvi-d connector, only the dock
station has one, I can try with a vga cable later though

Small update, the issue seems to happen only when the laptop lid is
closed on boot on current Oneiric (i.e booting with a the laptop lid
open works fine and has both laptop screen and external monitor display)
