We have more power adapters that are the correct wattage, so this is not
an issue anymore

Ok, thanks for verifying that Marc. I've marked this also as invalid
for Oneiric and marked it triaged for hw-labs. We need to buy a couple
of these larger power supplies then to make sure we have them available.
Can you find me a lenovo part number so I can start looking at buying
some of
Additionally, marking this private since it's now an internal hardware
issue rather than an Ubuntu issue.

Jeff, it is indeed a power supply issue. With the correct adapter it
will be fully illuminated, unfortunately we shipped the only power
supply to Alberto in Italy

Here's a screenshot showing the brightness settings. Notice the slider
at the 100% position and the Dim Screen box is not checked.
This may be brighter than what I am seeing because I did this using
PrtSc to do a screen cap which is probably unaffected by the backlight
settings anyway...

Here's a short video showing the dimmed screen. Note that I'm currently
running nouveau.

Also, I retried this using the proprietary driver from nvidia_current
rather than nouveau and this did not correct the issue.
