what I expect to happen: computer should go to sleep (i have /sys/power/state, and doing "sudo bash -c "echo 'mem' > /sys/power/state"" works great) lsb_release -r Release: 11.10 poop@frameserver:~$ apt-cache policy acpitool acpitool: Installed: 0.5.1-2 Candidate: 0.5.1-2 Version table: *** 0.5.1-2 0 500 http://demonserver/mirror.anl.gov/pub/ubuntu/ oneiric/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: acpitool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/881056 Title: "acpitool --suspend" doesn't work on oneric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpitool/+bug/881056/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
