I can't reproduce this and, obviously, neither can our build daemons, or nothing in oneiric would actually build. I'm assuming you've since moved past oneiric, but if you have any meaningful way to reproduce this situation, I'd be curious to know what is/was wrong. ** Changed in: eglibc (Ubuntu)
