Basically, you see it during boot if PulseAudio is configured for per- session use (as per default), whenever Plymouth is disabled. You'll also see whenever the kernel switches virtual console, such as when X is shut down prior to rebooting a host. -- You received this bug notification because

In what context does this message appear? i.e., is this at boot time or interactive, what is the kernel commandline, what plymouth theme do you have configured? This is likely to be a terminal configuration issue rather than with the implementation of log_warning_msg, since the latter *does*
