Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce the bug:
- Start a new bash shell
- Run unity-greeter (You should have enough permissions as a user to run this
command. Using `sudo unity-greeter` does not result in the bug)

The unity-greeter window now opens as normal but everything else becomes
unusual. The user theme is switched to default gnome-2 theme and right clicking
using two-finger touch does not work.
Trying to switch theme again does not work.

The only solution after that is to delete the ~/.config/dconf/user file
and log in again. Of course, a lot of user settings are deleted due to
it but everything becomes normal again.
