Before I read your advise, I performed several fresh i386 desktop installs from
8.04 Hardy to 11.10 Oneiric.
Suspend works until 9.04 Jaunty included. Beginning with 9.10 Karmic, resume is
broken. (BTW, I discovered that unpluging the battery charger (new 100%
charged battery
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? It will
allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Please refer
