I did a clean install of 8.10 some time ago, and I have not been able to
reproduce this in 8.10. It doesn't appear to be an issue any more. I
apologize for not getting back sooner.

Robert, your problem is not the same as originally reported. I noticed
the same behaviour, but we do not have the fullscreen problem. I created
a new bug report and took the liberty to subscribe you there.

I got a very similiar problem :
I got latest Ubuntu Intrepid and i testet rdesktop 1.6 as well as the latest
cvs version (2008-11-17).
Exact one out of two seamless rdp connections works, the other always segfaults.
I tried both with and without compiz.
Heres what rdesktop says :
./rdesktop -k

I'm running 8.04 and 8.04 64bit, with dual monitors, and the proprietary
NVIDIA drivers.
I've seen a similar issue where the seamlessrdp will take over the
entire monitor, but I'm usually able to kill the rdp session a couple of
times and come up with re-sizeable window.
