I changed my last line in etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base to this:
options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-eapd
but problem still remains after reboot:-(

Well, erasing Ubuntu, I cannot change the lines now :) , but in Windows
XP, I tried lots of things. About the red light: Yes, it did show up
when I started Ubuntu but it doesn't even show up in XP.

I had the same problem with my asus f3f laptop, too. Then, I erased
Ubuntu from my computer and I formatted my windows xp. The fact is it
still doesn't work and I don't know why. I hope somebody could help me..

The Skype sound problem probably isn't connected with Internal speakers
problem, it worked today without any problems, maybe there was some trouble
about waking from hibernation... so now it works but internal speakers still
don't play...
i'm not sure if it isn't only some HW problem..
