Installed 12.04 beta 2 from cdrom on my i3-2120T. I could not get
norwegian keyboard, only english. Then I installed both English and
Norwegian at the same time, enabling me to choose between them in the
top

Hello Brian,
I just tested Alpha2 and I still find this bug. An easy way to check
keyboard is trying Shift 2. The english keyboard has the @, the italian
the . I got the @ with the Precise 20120201 image.

I tried recreating this by booting a Precise desktop CD dated 2029.1
and choosing Italian at the Try Ubuntu menu. I then went to settings
and choose keyboard layout and my layout is infact Italian. Is there
something I'm doing wrong in trying to verify this?
