Please refer to bug #63700, where by it is pointed out that during the upgrade
from 6.06 to 6.10, I am unable to type more than one letter with हिंदी कीबोर्ड
in OpenOffice.
In gedit now typing seems to work.
Fresh installation of 6.10 is free from the problem of freezing beyond
single letter.
I can type in multiple letters without any problem. Also in Open Office
Writer I can type in word correctly in Hindi. Only in OO Calc I cannot
type in specific words. This is on Ubuntu 6.10 live cd/ fresh install.
