Hello,
I have an Xperia S (LT26i) with Android 4.0.4 and, despite I can
upload/download files through gMTP, Nautilus (Ubuntu 12.04) doesn't find my
device.
But it's very curious because in my secondary pc, a very old one, with Xubuntu
12.10 installed, Thunar v.1.5.3 find it and I can
Thanks for the info. Is this package going to be push to Precise?

I confirm for the whole xperia affected aspect.
I have Xperia Play, and the same matter occurs.
Just for info, I copy libmtp rules from /lib/udev/rules.d/ to
/etc/udev/rules.d/ and add the entry for Xperia play but matter still
remains.
product id is 515d (when USB debugging in on) and 015d
Maybe I should change the title of the bug to reflect that all Xperia
devices experience this problem.

I've been looking around for workarounds but nothing. I thought I was
the only one with the problem. I guess not a lot of Xperia arc owners
have Ubuntu. I'm going to post a thread on xda developers to see if
anybody has a suggestion there.
