This has been fixed upstream in Debian and is fixed in 14.04 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=664182 so I will mark it as fixed release (technically, 12.04 is still supported, but I doubt this merits a SRU). ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #664182
