Can you elaborate on what "amd" is? I could not find a source package in
Ubuntu (e.g. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amd).
Of course, it does not require to be packaged in Ubuntu to have rules for it,
but they should get forwarded to Debian (see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi
