Public bug reported:

OS: Ubuntu 10.04.3, 11.10, Lubuntu 11.10, Linux Mint 11
KiCad build: BZR3254 and BZR3255
program: eeschema
pc: various (3x tested)
method of installation: as described at INSTALL.txt (extract to /usr/local/)
not via package manager
Language Support installed for default (English) and Greek Modern (1453-)
Note: Greek language is named "el", "gr" or sometimes "el_gr"

Problem: Running eeschema with "Greek menus" (Preferences > Language >
Greek) every component placed does not have the wildcard "?" into
reference field (ex. R?, C?, P?). The text color on both reference and
value fields is purple (violet) while normal is light blue. These
components cannot be annotated!

Attached is a screen capture with the normal "R?" and the wrong "R"
component.
