Public bug reported:

When I open the Banshee program it lists pieces of music which it cannot play. 
It cannot play them because the partition which contains the music is not 
mounted. Banshee simply displays contents of its internal database without 
checking if Banshee can play these pieces of music. The user is perplexed that 
the name of a piece of music is displyed but Banshee cannot play it. He has to 
to call the Track Editor  > File Size: and look for "-1" to find that the music 
partition is not mounted.
I expect that Banshee only shows the names of pieces of music which it actually 
can play by pressing the butten »Play current element«. Furthermore I'd 
appreciate if Banshee made suggestions as to what could cause that pressing  
the button »Play current element« will be futile.
