Public bug reported: I am using likewise-open for authentication against Active Directory.
I log in as a domain user to create their home dir, and then run 'ecryptfs-migrate-home -u USER' to encrypt the user’s home directory. This seems to work as expected. However, when I try to log in, the user’s home directory is not automatically decrypted. (and so of course I cannot log in to the GUI). If I log in at the console and run 'ecryptfs-mount-private', it works fine and I can then log in to the display manager. ** Affects: ecryptfs-utils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/920609 Title: likewise-open users with migrated home directory won’t decrypt automatically To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ecryptfs-utils/+bug/920609/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
