Sorry, I wasn't aware that there hasen't been a new upload of software-
properties for quite a long time. The bug reported by you will be fixed
shortly after the beta release.

Crashed after adding
It still happens, adept-2.1.2ubuntu21 on feisty, fully up to date.
Same error after the same actions.
I can add third part repos but I can't edit them.

Please update your system to the latest version. Perhaps you use an
older version that had some import bugs.
I cannot reproduce this bug here.
