Hi Ming,
Can you test with the latest mainline kernel[0] to see if the bug was
already fixed upstream?

The issue does exist on 3.2.0-15-generic.
After uninstalling powernap package, the issue doesn't happen any more, so looks
it is caused by powernap stopping and starting cpu frequently.
If I connects my T410 with not very good signal wifi, the problem can be
triggered very easily.

Yesterday evening I found the issue triggered on 3.2.0-12.21 about 2 times when
I play a movie inside browser
by wireless network, see attachment for 'dmesg'.
In fact, the issue was not very easy to reproduce for me since generally
I connected my T410 with ethernet.
I remembered that the

Reply to #3,
Looks like 3.2.0-11.19 is not released now, so could you provide a link so that
I can test the
kernel package of 3.2.0-11.19?
thanks,

Hi Ming,
The 3.2.0-11.19 kernel should be in the Precise repository. Did you
run an apt-get update before running apt-get upgrade?

It isn't available. The last time on a request to test latest kernel it took me
two days to get it. I've filed a bug few weeks ago because there was no fixed
libreoffice and new kernel fetched (although lp said uploaded since 43 hours),
but marked it as invalid when the kernel finally arrived
That's the one I've filed bug 916843
