This is fixed now, the package is in edgy-updates, its possible that not
all mirrors are updated yet though.

I have tested the update-manager-core package by running 'sudo do-
release-upgrade -d' on an Edgy server install. It worked well. One
thing that I noticed however was that when I pressed 'd' for details
regarding packages being removed I was not returned a new prompt with my
available options.

objections to the package:

from you or at the meeting. its the release-upgrader for the server. it needs a
backported package that
Source-NEWed, looks good so far. I'll do more scrutinizing on the binary
once it's built. I take it you already verified that edgy's update-
manager and that new binary package do not conflict at all?

Ugh, that's not quite the classical SRU, that's an entirely NEW package.
I don't see this package in edgy-proposed either, did you forget to
actually upload it?
Since we do not usually add new packages to stable releases, I'd like to
have this discussed at the meeting or signede off by Matt.
