Till, I think it is a good idea to have cups search in /opt/ppd/. It
should just not ship this directory. It is trivial to make the searching
robust against nonexisting directories, if it isn't already.

I will change the printing requirements of LSB 3.2. PPD search directory
will be only /usr/share/ppd. Driver packages installing to /opt or
/usr/local should simply symlink their PPD directories to there.
Then I will remove the additional directories from the CUPS package.
