Actually, not quite the same. I am trying to install libqtcore4:i386 in addition to libqtcore4, because I'm trying to use the 32-bit Skype. I don't understand why dpkg --force-all does not override this error and install anyway. Help much appreciated. -- You received this bug notification

** Description changed: I use a x86_64 Oneiric Ocelot, today upgraded to the 12.04 beta. Then I removed Skype and Aquaria, which were the only i386 programs on my machine, in order to make sure multiarch is reinstalled clearly. However, I can't install any of these two programs anymore
