patch. This I have reported upstream

No. I mean, I can, but now it's working (see #5) and I don't know what I
had there when it was segfaulting. I also deleted and recreated all my
/etc/cups dir.

OK, the problem was probably some corruption of a file in
/var/cache/cups/.
