actually might not be a bug, but I don't have time to hack. Maybe
something to do with my laptops graphic card having internal sound hw in
addition to (i believe, not 100% sure) actual sound hardware, and ubuntu
using that for some reason? 3.5mm jacks work, I have nothing to test
HDMI with but
