from your crash log it can be seen that you have already installed libx11-6
2:1.0.3-0ubuntu4.1. This crashes Opera
9.10. Have a look at

Opera worked ok until this morning. I had just downloaded two updates for the
x11 libs using the update manager.
Being new to ubuntu I cannot find the log to tell me exactly what they were.
