Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

While trying to do a fresh install of kubuntu on using feisty 7.04 beta
cd, I tried to manually edit the partition table, after playing around
quite some time trying various settings for my partition table, I got a
message stating the installer crashed with the following traceback.

ubiquity ver 1.4.3

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/frontend/kde-ui.py", line 1934, in
on_partition_list_new_activate
    index = selected[0]
IndexError: list index out of range

Attached is my /var/log/partman
