This seems also to be related to the bug 98795 I raised. Not only you
can't remove CD-ROM but if you click on any options in software source
dialog shown by in the screenshot.png dialog will endup by corrupting
the source.lust.

Choose Sysem - Adminsitration - Software Sources from the GNOME main
menu or Settings - Repositores in Synaptic.
Does this dialog doesn't work as intended or haven't you been aware of
it yet?

I looked in both those locations, and they both give me the same dialog.
Maybe I'm being dumb, but I cannot find where to disable the CD. I can see
checkboxes for Main, Universe, Restricted and Multiverse, but not to
